I live on Arnoldtown Rd, opposite end from the Church!  How easy is that - and I still am late for church!!  I am doing better though! I've been going to Harvest (Pleasure Ridge, Shively) Church for I guess about 45 or 46 years?  I was REAL young when I started!!  We originally went to Highland Park Church of God (now River City) my dad left there

first, it took my mother a few months before she started coming.  I have a lot of memories of the old Pleasure Ridge church - lot of fun growing up there.  My dad was the song director until he passed away in 1991 - at one time my dad lead the singing, I played the piano & my sister played the organ. I started playing the piano for church when I was 15 I think, maybe 16 - I've been playing ever since.  I do feel that it is my calling.  I've played for a lot of different people but my all time favorite is my dad (can you tell I like him a lot!!)  Also I used to play & sing with Verna Casey’s 2 daughters.

Church is a lot of my life. I love my church and the people that are my family there.  I have very good friends that I've known for a long time, and very good friends that I've only known for a short time.
